Living from the Heart

Let’s explore the concept of living from the heart. In this sense, we are referring to the heart is the center of our emotions, sentiments, and values. Along with the mind, It’s the source from which our actions and decisions flow.

When we live from the heart, we open ourselves up to a world and way of authenticity, lovingkindness, balance, and harmony. This way of living transcends the superficial and focuses on the genuine connection we have with our Self and that we share with others. We live, connected to the Kingdom of Heaven Within. It involves being present, fully engaged, and awake to our own feelings, gifts, and needs – as well as aware of others’.

To live from the heart, we first learn to listen.  Listen to the inner voice that guides from a place of peace, love, and wisdom.  Choose moments  to put away distractions; power down the screens. Give your full attention to yourself, your Higher Power, the person with you – whoever you are sharing space with in that moment.  This simple act of paying attention can deepen a meaningful life, bring a sense of belonging, and be a healing moment of heart connection.

When living from the heart, emotions do not overwhelm you; they do guide you. Now, let heart-centered thought guide you as heart and mind work harmoniously and in coherence.

Now, let your emotions guide you. Embrace it when things are going well; accept it when things are not. Learn from both. Our emotions are a valuable resource, shaping our thoughts and actions and helping us navigate the ups and downs of life.

Be willing to find a balance between your needs and the needs of others. They are equally valuable. Being a heart-focused listener and a thoughtful communicator is key in living from the heart.

Remember – Be Kind. Kindness is a gift that we can freely give and receive. Living from the heart is not only giving, but also receiving kindness & compliments with grace.  It’s about treating yourself and others with compassion, understanding, and respect with no strings attached. We are all worthy of love and in need of kindness. 

Living from the heart is about embracing simplicity, empathy, and kindness in our daily lives. It is discovering what brings you joy, and doing that. By focusing on the connections within and around us we are present and active participants in our own well-being. When living from the heart, we stay well enough to be a positive support for others too. We can move forward into a world filled with love, understanding, and harmony. We can do this. We can Improve Our World, One Self at a Time.
